A lot of fitness tips tend to hinge on the same few takeaways, but that isn’t the case with a recent report from Shape. The author offers up some weird insights into the ways an individual might be able to improve their workouts, and some of them deserve closer scrutiny even if the initial reaction is to raise one’s eyebrows.
The report advises a handy trick for checking posture: put on a t-shirt you wear often and check it out in the mirror, and pay attention to the shoulder stitching while you’re doing that. It should be in a straight line, and if it’s not, more attention may need to be lent to posture. You can also determine if your shoes should be replaced by attempting to twist it in your hands. A shoe that bends easily has probably been worn down a bit too much.
